• SMS & Call Monitoring: Shows records of your child's calls, messages from SMS and supported social media. Note that additional messaging and phone apps are required to download for this feature to work.
• Find Phone Siren: Make the child's phone ring loudly for 15 seconds even if it is on mute.
• Location Tracking: Tracks the child's real-time location and supports viewing router history. However, the biggest downside is that it doesn't offer geofencing. That is, I can't set up school zones to know if my child arrives or leaves there.
• Safety Alerts This is designed to detect risky keywords in child's SMS and social messages — like suicide, bullying, violence, or drugs — and send parents an alert. But during my tests, only suicide-related keywords were detected, and the alerts were delayed.
• Usage Reports Lets you know which apps and websites your child uses and for how long. But the report doesn't update automatically — I had to manually refresh the page each time to see the latest activity.
• Web Filtering: Blocks websites using preset categories or custom blacklists. Plus, I can even adjust filters based on my child's age!
• App Blocking: Restricts specific apps or set time limits. What I like most is that MMGuardian lets me create custom app groups, so I can build my own restriction lists.
• Inappropriate Picture Detection: Scans photos on the child's device — including MMS and saved images — to detect potentially risky content. Though it can send alerts to parent's end, we cannot view the details of the image.
